The Guitar Group focuses on developing our skills and knowledge to play music for fun and entertainment.

We enjoy playing an eclectic mix of music styles; classical, traditional, folk, pop, tunes from our formative years and music from shows and films.

As well as playing music, when necessary we delve into its theory and principles.

We try to cater for a wide spectrum of abilities. If you have mastered a handful of chords or are a seasoned player there should be something to interest you. 

Although we try to work from manuscripts, the ability to read music is not essential as we look at different systems used to read and write tunes.
