Have you ever fancied going to see a film, but had no one to go with? Or maybe you just missed it at the cinema? If you are free on a Friday evening this may be your chance....

Our Flix@6 group shows films on the first and third Fridays of the month at Staincross Christian Fellowship church hall, Spark Lane, Mapplewell. Not only do we get to see a film but there is the option to have supper from the chip shop. We aim to start the film at 6pm and have an interval about 7pm, when supper arrives. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also available. There may be a small charge of 25p for refreshments, and 20p for the film, but currently the only cost is £1.50 for the blue box, and the cost of whatever is ordered from the chip shop.

The films may not be brand new, but they will be ones that were extremely popular when they were first released.
We try to show a variety of genres, and would welcome your input on what you would like to see. 

Doors open about 5.30pm to allow time to get set up and organise the chip shop order, and even have a cuppa?
