Allow me to introduce you to Mrs Rose Buckner who wrote a weekly column for mothers in the 'Sunday People' for 10 years from 1947, sharing incidents in her daily life as a not-so-ordinary British housewife. Plus knitting and mending, austerity recipes and home-made Christmas decorations!
